Okay...

Blogger is being weird, so here's the rest of that last post:

Euphorbia x Iomi. I don't remember when I got this...I think late 2012.

It is now a blooming fool. It hasn't been without flowers for over a year now. We have an agreement...I don't let it dry out and it blooms for me. :)

Hoya latifolia.

My second peduncle...the first that I think won't blast!

It's my favorite Hoya. Those leaves are almost as big as my palm.

Revisiting some plants!

I'm going to be doing a pic dump series. First, we're going to revisit some plants I got over a year ago. :)

Remember this single dad? 3/26/12

I think he needs a bigger house. 3/8/14

Remember Baby? 3/26/12

She's growing well. 3/8/14
This Ledebouria socialis only had one bulb when I bought it. 3/26/12

Hi, everyone! I don't think the blog time stamps anything, so it's Feb. 26th, 2014.

I haven't blogged in almost a year. For that, I'm sorry!

It's been an up and down road for the plants. I've lost quite a few over the last year and for different reasons - some died outside, some died during the move, some just didn't enjoy what I had to offer. I had been very busy with wedding planning, so they got watered less. Some thrived, some did not. I'll have to update the plant list.

Now that we're one year into engagement, I felt it was right to get back into my hobbies a little bit. I have abstained from buying any plants for over a year now. I get to treat myself sometimes, right? I'll be buying more Hoyas and succulents...hopefully at the upcoming Flower Show here in Philadelphia. I'm very excited!

That's it for now. I'm hoping to take photos of some of the plants I've already shown you to show you how they've grown. My Euphorbia x Iomi is blooming out of its mind and I *think* I have a peduncle on H. latifolia!

Hoyas!

I water the outdoor plants about once a week. It's been super rainy here (apparently the wettest June in recorded history), but when it isn't raining, it's HOT. HAWT. God, it's hot.

The Hoyas are doing really well! Putting them outside was worth the hair-pulling at the beginning of the season. After they stopped getting sunburned, they all started growing like mad. Too bad the mosquitoes get me SO bad out there...

I've been really focused on my other blog about weight loss (come visit!), but my plants are still doing well. I haven't bought a plant in weeks. Wedding > plants right now.

I hope everyone is well! :)

Let's Go.

I'm still here. Been battling sunburn on the outdoor plants. The indoor plants are happy as clams.

I've been working on my other blog, so I'm sorry I'm neglecting this one. :(

Fancy footwork.

So, I've been dealing with plants that have gotten sunburned. It's horrible.

Also, I've been trying to lose weight. It's going well so far. It's just made me extremely busy.

P.S. - ants are fucking horrible.

Just one thing.

H. elliptica EPC-641 and H. sp 97005 rooted immediately and grew immediately. I've never seen that before. They usually need a little time before they grow! I'm so happy about this.

I've seen some mealies, but that's not new for my Hoyas. I deal with it.

More stuff after the audit Friday. Ho hum.
